But yes you raise a very important point.  Is it cultural trends?  Could be!  It seems to me that people are like lambs in some respects.  They can't think for themselves.  They go along with the norm that surrounds them.  People must challenge conformity in order to grow and evolve.  Surely issues concerning power and control over people and countries should be speculated upon.  Not everything we see around us is truth and righteousness. These edits are very fast and make the shows seem very exciting. Children become used to having information come at them at great speed and in short bursts, which makes processing information any other way seem dull.&lt;br&gt;

That's my theory!&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
I grew up watching very little tv, and anything I did watch was censored by my parents. Because of this I read a lot of books and learned to make my own entertainment.&lt;br&gt;
&lt;br&gt;
